Endless has better production
Blonde has been lyrics & overall emotion
Iâm glad we got both, because theyâre both classics
I think Wither might have the most emotion and best lyrics of any song on either album
to me, the fact that there hasn't been any announcement on a change tells me that they are moving forward with a weekend 2 performance.
just my assumption
Thats how Im feeling too

another s***ty performance? no thanks
I'm a big frank fan, but this ain't bruh
and it's not because there's no album coming, the whole thing is so lackluster
He needs to re-sell the Endless merch
I would spend everything I have

Blonde is better written in general song structures etc
Endless is very stream of consciousness which is a cool aesthetic but blonde manages to achieve that without feeling as chaotic and with some ridiculously good songwriting
Tho Rushes >>>
rushes is one of the best audio depictions of what itâs like to take ecstasy lol

yea unreal song
that closing run of the album is mental
also hearing Florida live on Sunday made me appreciate that song a ton more really pretty song

of course heâs performing weekend 2
yâall really overreacting thinking heâd be dropped or bailout when thereâs been nothing alluded to of that sort from either side

I mean clearly GV are unhappy
I think heâs doing weekend 2 but it hasnât been unreasonable to question that given where that relationship seems to be at

Itâs very unreasonable, mind ya business you have no clue whatâs happening bts

I have the dvd. I regret not getting the vinyl at the time, but wanted the visual aspect in physical form for that album.

at the end of the day thatâs all just assumption based on behind the scenes stories which vary in credibility
the facts are that a contract is still in place
and unless either party comes out and says otherwise, the show goes on
finally watched i dont think that was anywhere close to the disaster people are making it out to be
its a solid set with some hiccups that just doesnt fit the occasion
coachella goers want hits and didnt get them i think thats fine some artists are gonna try something different on a stage like this sometimes and maybe it wont fit the mood
but frank maybe doesnt realise that his hardcore fans havent been able to sit with his change in sound for as long as he has, while he's on stage talking about how this rave s*** and remixing has become a huge part of his life and work we havent had the chance to experience that outside of a couple of songs because covid shut it all down and he wasnt able to ramp it all back up before this set
so im not surprised after all these years people are a little shocked by a bunch of remixes and a whole dj set
but it all sounded great, visuals were great and i think if we never heard anything about an ice rink everyone would agree with that my only real faults is him just letting nikes and nights play out instead of performing them like he has before and being late enough to not be able to finish properly because of the curfew (he did this when i saw him in 2017 and it sucked then too)
i dont understand the constant mention of long pauses between songs or the crazier theory that all the vocals were pre recorded its just dogpiling at this point
I would spend everything I have
Same
Need another copy of the vinyl, CD, VHS, DVD, and maybe a poster
Self Control
That version takes the song to another level

Trying something different and not just giving the hits would be, idk maybe performing new music and giving a visual performance, the problem with the set wasnât that he didnât play the hits lol he did play the hits
Youâre making it like he did something so daring and people werenât ready for his dance direction, he barely showed that once again. The execution was s*** and the whole thing is half assed.
ok, but it was a throwaway by definition, if you know the backstory there, and according to setlist.fm those songs were live debuts, maybe one or two he played before but the point stands. this still has nothing to do with last sunday night being a mess. not just compared to other headlining sets at coachella, but to franks own standards he had set for himself
It was not a throwaway by definition. He sold the album on vinyl and had an entirely different set of recording sessions specifically for the album
It was a release that had its own intentions that, while politically charged, were artistically coherent and honest

he screamed wiseman down a mic to a punk instrumental man these guys wanted chanel so they can hit a tiktok dance
The more I think about it the fewer problems I have with his performances
It was moreso the circumstances surrounding it and some nitty gritty like sequencing (DJ set shouldâve been in the beginning imo)
