Nah that wasn’t cool AT ALL.

Whether it’s unethical to sell unreleased work privately to superfans is up to you

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but they had no business exposing him like that.

Clearly they tried to cut a deal, maybe he double-sold the video, and it went south.

You shouldn’t mess with someone’s career like this

Especially when you also illegally sold Frank’s music

theres 0% chance you actually believe what you said

imagine hiring a guy to direct and edit your video and hes using it, without your permission, to sell it to other people. Thats some A tier shadyness

and the people who are selling the music weren't involved with the creation of the songs, so thats a completely different situation

AWGE must have Hidji in the sweatshop if he needing to sell s*** on the side

I fully believe what I said; it’s why I went to the effort of typing it out.

We could argue about whether this is shady

    Was it worth exposing him?

Are you aware this happens so routinely that there is a market for it?

    That creatives are underpaid?

That yes, hacking an artist and selling their material is not just a different situation but WORSE.

That Frank song was sold for 6.2k.

The music video 2k. For your reference.

Yes he shouldn’t have done that under his real name and face. That was just dogshit judgment.

    im missing the point

so because this happens routinely and the creatives are underpaid, this makes the whole situation ok to do or what?

if he was caught selling mv of multiple artists, then yeah it would make sense to expose him to make it aware for other artists to not work with him

Why does selling his own unreleased, scrapped work privately to collectors mean he can’t work with artists?

The artists got paid. (Frank, Taylor, and Rocky have enough money.)

As I said, this happens often: videos, music, photoshoots. In many cases, you might be surprised the artists are actually OK with it.

The question is whether exposing him was right. And why did they do it?

    "collectors"?? lmfao what
because when you're hired to direct and edit a video for an artist, you're not allowed to sell it to anyone

i never asked you if artists are OK with it, im asking you, ethically, if thats an ok thing to do

the question isnt about money, is about having something that you created get released on the internet without your consent, regardless on what is your final intention with it
