Do we get a portrait cover? is there a fully fleshed out rollout? Are we getting bonus content (novel, magazine, videos)?
At this point, Blonde is not just a generational classic but an all time classic. Whenever he pulls that trigger the entire music will stop for him.
It would be such a missed oppurtunity to not have some sort of visual media attached to the next LP, even more so considering all the rumors of his directorial debut with A24 floating around 2 years ago. It's the perfect way to encapsulate a certain period of time, and he knows how to do it better than almost anyone else.
When I first saw that scrapped Samsung ad Miles Jay directed with Frank, it was like being transported right back to that uber specific feeling of 2012-14 nostalgia.

even though it's the most under wraps thing of this next chapter I feel 90% sure he's doing a 2nd volume of BDC
Didn't expect a documentary at all and it feels like he's explicitly making us aware of the fact (ig stories etc.), this is the one I'm most curious to see. Hope it spans back to at least 2017 but I'd take even the tiniest glance into a day as Frank Ocean

I definitely believe we're getting an extension of the album in the form of a magazine or novel. The documentary is one of those formats that I can see him sleeping on till it's time to release. Too many scrapped and vaulted visuals à la Prince for me to be excited just yet.
Someone can maybe correct me but It also felt like the industry simultaneously pushed towards electronica music right around the time he mentioned being interested in that sound. I really we get some form of Bossa Nova or that Energy instrumental - Brazil has also been heavily hinted if we actually go back and look at everything.

That energy instrumental gives me huge Milton Nascimento/Lô Borges influence.. I remember he had an interlude from Clube da Esquina on a Blonded broadcast

Silhouettes was never an album. They were planned singles to promote raves he had scheduled around the world, hence the electronic theme.
