And obviously some wild card surprises

Whoa really? I really enjoyed Blowout.
Whoa really? I really enjoyed Blowout.
Someone hinted it to me a while ago but only said “John Kirby” so all I could come up with was maybe a retro Nintendo vibe or that it was some like weird cryptic reference to the guy from the White House that’s always yapping about Israel
Until I realized John Carroll Kirby worked on DHL and is a total legend
Frank on something like “Oropendola” off of Blowout makes perfect sense and would be a f***ing smash
I think this next project will have tropical/samba/quiet storm vibes meshed with some idiosyncratic electronic stuff and of course some weird ass interludes only Frank could cook up
I think it’ll be a massive success if he puts it out

That would be incredible. Hopefully we get to hear it sooner than later.
it’s very peaceful
Sometimes i open up this thread and just hang out for half an hour to soak in the vibe

you’re too real
Frank just gonna drop this randomly isn’t he
Will be the most impactful drop since Blonde surprise drop too

Probably but if he did a semi traditional or even non traditional rollout that wasn’t a surprise drop this album would do insane numbers I think
Killing me that we’ve gotten 3 (technically 4 w BP soundtrack) Kendrick albums since Blonde
It will have a release similar to Gambino's white album. No visuals, nothing. It will be swallowed up after 2 weeks and people will gravitate back to Blonde.

You nailed it. His next project (and yes it is coming) will absolutely reprogram the industry. It is so much more sonically complex than Blonde and he's going in a direction that an artist of his calibre hasn't gone since Prince. This next one puts him in a league of his own. There is no one sitting on a better project than Frank Ocean in music right now.

I used to be delusional too
