catalogue is out of stock and the store's appointment schedule is full till late september/early october
though I'm curious to know whether those appointments are fans getting a glance at the store or potential buyers, most probably the former lets be real

No shame! just play it real casual:
"So tell me more about this 2 million dollar chain....9300 diamonds you say? By the way, you think I can speak to the manager, Frank, I think I see him peaking through that door...."

yeah not sure it was a good business decision
because 99% of the schedule will be taken by stans who don't have the money to buy any of these

I’m pretty sure serious buyers can & will call in to get access, people on Reddit are saying this will fail not knowing this dude is a maniac who goes through whatever to ensure he wins. Not to mention the connections he has in the music and fashion world. If this was a regular rich guy doing this then yeah it would’ve been questionable but mf hangs out with fashion elite who will jump to pick up a piece.
Lab grown diamonds over natural diamonds is an interesting choice, I guess there is some ethicality in this venture lmao.

it's more environmentally friendly and really progressive. heard he owns the labs too, so it's actually fully independent venture
why is it called homer
"...because Homer is considered the father of history and history is meant to endure – the same as diamonds and gold – and I know Homer used papyrus, but I’ve always liked the idea of carving history into stone.”
Frank used our money to fund a MULTI MILLION dollar venture has to be the funniest narrative
He took a loan with 0% interest 🤣

Knew it was independent but didn't know he owned labs. So why do people think the ~20-30k he made off the merch in 2019 funded this whole thing?

20-30k? Any merch drop frank does is at least half an M bro
the only thing that bothers me in that interview is his wording of the aditional meaning for the name choice. he said it is about setting his legacy in stone and pointed to ancient writer homer
the thing is... he described homer as herodotus, cause homer was blind and didn't write anything at all, on papyrus or whatever (and fiction writing isn't history exactly lmao). yeah, homer was kinda first famous persona in describing things (if he was even real ofc), but i'm surprised that nobody noticed that
the greek inside me kinda upset ngl

dude seemed jaded and more reserved than usual the entire interview. Maybe it's the way it was written or the fact that it's hard to gauge tone through text idk. Everything he said was brief and to the point, for his piece after 2-ish years of media silence I definitely was left wanting more after reading it.

it left some intrigue but it felt like it was very compulsory for frank. the interviewer wrote in that story that he didn't want to do it
and it's poorly edited, they replaced almost all of his words with interviewer commentary and ironically nobody noticed that homer erratum
