Is Jai Paul good or is he just a watered down Frank Ocean or artist gassed by ktt? Hype?
He’s really good although definitely benefited a lot from the mysterious gimmick. He’s a critic/blog darling who practically gets compared to established artists off the strength of a handful of tracks and leaks.
sorry for being off topic, but my mind is still blown Jai Paul is playing at coachella…dude is literally the future right in front of us
Hopefully that means new s***
there's a jai paul clone
i forgot his name though
Ben Khan or Demo Taped?
I just paid $2200 for a s***ty ass hotel room a 15 min drive away. This is killing me.
I wouldn't even mind paying more if it was nicer but everything nice is outrageously expensive and unaffordable for me. How tf can normal people afford to go to this without camping (I can't get sleep if I'm camping around a bunch of loud ass people)

no hostels around there unfortunately
for high but not extremely high prices you have too book almost a year in advance, and sometimes hotels will cancel that too due "pricing errors". managed to get a room for weekend 1 for almost $1000 that way btw
(might have to do it solo too so if anyone's looking to share it pm me)
Alright so I'm trying to plan some s*** out
If I wanna fly in, I need to pay for following:
2 passes
Flight to arrive day before (can't trust flights)
I guess a rental car and someplace to stay the Thursday night
Buy cheap ass food for the whole weekend. Maybe just get cliff bars out the ass or something
Then drive to the fest Friday
Camp there?
But I'm not trying to buy a tent? So I guess I'll just sleep in the car those days
Then fly back
What else am I missing??

So this is how me and my group did it last year and it worked perfectly.
We fly in Wednesday and stay in a hotel that night in Palm Springs. This is nice to have time to get supplies and anything you forgot to pack. We had success with flying in all of our big supplies like tent and sleeping bags, it’s nice to have a credit card that gets you free checked bags or fly Southwest. We also get the rental car this day. If it’s just 2 people you won’t need that big of a car so just get the economy size. Camping starts Thursday and it’s a great time, everyone sets up and parties with their neighbors for the night and there’s also a DJ stage in the campgrounds. One of the friends in the group slept in the car all weekend so that’s possible, but I’d at least recommend a sun canopy or else it would be miserable. For food there’s a shuttle that takes you to the grocery store that we used every day to get cheap hot food and some snacks. You can also reup on liquor. Then when Monday hits you pack your s*** and go.

they buy airbnbs early as s*** but a little ways away from the festival grounds and take shuffles in/out
same w hotels
but most people going (at least to weekend 1) have had their tickets for this since he cancelled
Hopium
Haven’t had a reason to be this delusional about Frank dropping in a while. Feels good.
