is there any word of a regular non-acoustic, non-remixed cayendo?
I thought the acoustic WAS the regular

it’s just the acoustic version (the OG) and the sango remix
i agree with it being kind of lame if frank only plays his released stuff, but blonde is 100 percent going to be at the level of recognition that an album like "thriller" has, decades from now
Whew, this is delusional ngl
I thought the acoustic WAS the regular
I was always in the belief that there is a TRUE CDQ, studio produced original version of both Cayendo and Dear April
And then there’s acoustic versions + remixes
If you listen to the vocals on the remixes, they’re not taken from the acoustics
so my theory was there is a 3rd version, an actual produced frank ocean album version of those songs. And Sango/Justice used the acapellas from that mystery version

Sounds legit
does anyone here know how frank managed to print hundreds if not thousands of copies of BDC with the blonde CD in them and have pretty much nothing leak until it actually dropped
like beyond NDAs how do you print 1000+ copies of a 300pg magazine with a hotly anticipated album inside, set up shops to give them away and there be literally zero word of it
made even weirder by those gif leaks of magazine photos a few weeks before it actually dropped
like fr franks team is as tight as the white house planning a presidential trip to iraq or smth. i just wanna know how literally nothing has ever leaked over these years when probably every other major artist has had something leak

AND it was delayed 2 weeks
Maybe that had something to do with it not being leaked though, maybe they weren’t even ready to be distributed
Would explain why the Blonde CD is different compared to digital version too
I seem to remember reading that Frank only keeps his stuff on hard-drives, he never used cloud storage
Wasn’t there an interview where he says this?

the remixes are the acapellas of the acoustic versions chopped up a bit
he just sent them the acapellas and they produced around it
also i’m so curious what happened to those OG boys don’t cry magazines that he posted in april 2015 with the “twoooo versions” post

you know large projects like bdc have drafts and multiple versions right?

amazing. totally missing the point of my post and jumping at a chance to be obnoxious
i’m curious what happened to those physical copies he had. i’m sure they’ll be worth a lot one day. maybe there’s some cool info in there about what blonde was supposed to be (tracklisting, cover art, etc.) since they were printed and ready to go in april ‘15.
i obviously know that projects have “drafts”. do you think i skipped 2nd grade writing workshop?

you and i both know they’re under franks bed or some s*** lol there was probably nothing even different about them considering the tracklist for blonde on bdc is different in the current version too. just an early draft that he posted, that’s all.

glad he updated it bc that OG font was not icy
i guarantee you he’ll sell them one day with another repress and some of these stans will gobble it up
i will be checking for pdf’s

nah idt enough were printed to justify a release. this guy has vaulted countless videos and projects there’s no way he’s dropping a skeleton version of a magazine that’s heavily acclaimed.

Would be more like a thing that gets sold by a friend of Frank in 30 years (if Frank is still beloved like that) and goes for a few thousand.
