4 projects just isn’t that many, compared to the other superstars who had big Coachellas like Bey and Ye
I’m not saying Beyoncé or Ye comparisons . I go to artist for different things . Not everything needs to be compared
If you think Frank catalog isn’t good enough to be a Coachella headliner you might not be a Frank ocean fan
I ain’t say he’s not good enough to headline, I’m just not really THAT hyped or expecting a career defining performance since it’s still relatively early for him as far as material
Billie eilish was a Coachella headliner lmfao
It’s wild that Billie has as much music out as Frank lol

He announced he was doing Coachella like 4 years ago
im just hyped to see him after a pandemic that cancelled the performance
It’s a 2 hour set he has plenty of music to fill that
Im expecting him to bring someone out tho

Rage against the machine were supposed to headline coachella and they only have 4 albums

Frank’s two studio albums hold more relevance, weight, and iconic status than 95% of other releases that have dropped within the past 15 years.
This will, quite easily, be a career defining performance for him, as it’s his first public performance in 6 years and also his first major performance that will be broadcast in over 10 years
only person i’d want him to bring out is tyler to perform she
or andre for pink matter
Damn the version of Ivy he debuted in 2013 was so mid compared to the album version
!https://youtu.be/X-q_e2HqSiIHe debuted Siegfried and Ivy in 2013 and also Forrest Gump at coachella 2012
He’s obv such a different artist now but he definitely used to be into playing songs live before they came out.
I don’t even expect a new song performed let alone any new albums or anything but I feel it’s the most likely option tbh. And by that I mean there is a 25% chance
i love this version and played it on repeat in 2015, even learned the piano chords. the instrumentation makes it so somber, cathartic almost. i also have a weird relationship w/ it. in 2014-15 i fell in limerence w/ this girl and i found this song during the summer after we broke contact. i ended up playing it religiously bc the lyrics eerily mirrored how I felt abt our relationship/how things played out. You wouldn't imagine my shock when I unbeknownstly played the CDQ after Blonde dropped and realized that the song that i pined over her to ended up bearing her name.
