Apr 22, 2020·1 replyOooLike let’s not pretend frank is innocent. He’s had some misses and polarizing music lately with blonde and the singles. But since he says nothing people take what they can get. If any other artist got caught plagiarizing they’d never hear the end of it. If they took the direction of his last two singles they’d get clowned and killed for it. But with frank since he stays so lowkey he’s looked at differently than other artists. Do you give him passes or does he please you? Let’s discuss.

It’s too soft, not as ambitious as channel orange was. His singing, while more refined, is not as raw as channel orange either. I feel like he took a step back songwriting wise

Wait I’m kinda confused lol. What did he steal from? Channel Orange and Blond are artistic masterpieces that borrow style from albums but I never knew he directly stole from another artist’s work.

Every artist has overpriced merch. I don’t blame him for it. He makes exclusive one time drops and I don’t think it’s bad if he jumps up the price. He knows people are gonna resell it anyways so why not get a bigger cut
Apr 22, 2020·1 replyI definitely think signs point to him not being a particularly nice person, and his radio silence to his fans throughout this vinyl debacle has been pretty dreadful.
But still, he’s absolutely not the first artist in the world to get a pass because of the quality of his work and he certainly won’t be the last.
Anyone who is saying things like “Blonde isn’t very good” is being contrarian for the sake of it. Frank has two outrageously good studio albums.
