It’s not an R&B album, for starters...
Probably why people didnt receive it the way frank's other s*** did. Nobody knows wtf it is...

It's a great f***ing album that's what it is

What does this even mean? Blonde was unanimously praised.
it just has to be a classic if you like it?
imma be real. IDK anyone who disliked this album irl. Even on the internet there was almost universal praise

it was praised from the jump

I know a ton of people irl who don't get the hype about Blonde at all and think Channel Orange was his peak

And idk anyone who liked the album in real life and I can find people that dislike it on the internet
I want him to pass my booty around
I see you’ve gone full h****after beating off to that Timmy thick video. It was inevitable
on some level it's smart that he doesn't say anything b/c i think he knows that social media outcry is mostly provisional and doesn't usually result in actual consequences other than people perhaps carrying some resentment around irl -- resentment that usually manifests in nothing but people's thoughts
and typically, responding to social media only fuels the fire take that weeknd/usher biz the other week -- the weeknd made some statement and it got bigger once he eventually acknowledged it via twitter, and now no one even cares bout that incident. frank just skips over the aggravation part of it, which i think usually works to his benefit
however, not demonstrating any responsibility towards his fans re: music and merch is silly, but he's an amoral dude he's got some money and power; he doesn't need to care (whether he should is a diff question)
will it last? i dunno. i don't think his allure will last forever tbh. the hype for those 2016 albums can't really be replicated because we genuinely didn't know his game at that time -- he was a relative newcomer w/ CO who decided to go very recluse afterwards, confusing many. now it's kinda expected and thereby less interesting
He did takes some lyrics from Beatles songs, albeit interpolate
He also credited them and I assume paid them for that sample
@Cookies youre purposely being vague about the plagiarism thing to bait people into the thread, youre better than this
plenty of people are f***ing w all his music as of late, not his fault yall are still stuck on blonde
Like let’s not pretend frank is innocent. He’s had some misses and polarizing music lately with blonde and the singles. But since he says nothing people take what they can get. If any other artist got caught plagiarizing they’d never hear the end of it. If they took the direction of his last two singles they’d get clowned and killed for it. But with frank since he stays so lowkey he’s looked at differently than other artists. Do you give him passes or does he please you? Let’s discuss.
Plagiarizing what
the most overrated artist of our generation, he's still good tho but his stans and internet critics really conviced us all of this narrative just because he's a homosexual and mysterious
