Ngl this 10th anniversary hit me hard.. I’ll never forget playing CO when it first came out, seeing him live in 2014, and constantly stalking KTT1 for those 4 years. S***’s got me revisiting Blonde since this thread was made & looking up think pieces on YouTube about it. It was such a mind f*** when it dropped cause it sounded nothing like CO

nothing I said negates anything you just said like what are you even arguing? the point is both of these things happen parallel to each other. you make money, laugh, have fun, explore creative outlets and live life and still grieve through it all. frank was cracking jokes at the same coachella set he was dedicating to ryan. by forcing any mention of him to be defined by his grief reduces him to a shell. anytime someone says "damn I wish he'd drop I miss him" we don't have to do this empathy policing stuff about Ryan. really, it's none of our damn business if we're being completely honest we all know and emphasize with his loss and can do that and still want music. Frank himself announced he was back focused on an album in the Blonde reissue liner notes a couple years ago, and he's posted pics of himself in studios

    Legitimately never knew this

My fault, I’ll admit I was wrong

I was highkey upset at CO because I thought he could make more impactful (on me) music. Stuff that was more melancholic and mythical. Then we got hit with some haymakers. Blonde, Wise Man, Endless, Cayendo

Him and Drake the only 2 artists that fulfilled my prophecies

I can't blame you cus it was the most "here DAMN" lowkey statement ever so people would stfu about the raves/playlist project. and I confused it with the poster he dropped alongside the Blonde vinyl reissue in 2022, not the actual liner notes themselves so even more mysterious

That’s crazy you feel that way about CO, no judgement whatsoever I just think that’s wild.. s*** was beyond impactful for me.. Bad Religion may be his most potent song to me

Loved Bad Religion and CO but I'm extremely tough on my music takes. Especially when the artist is goat tier

2010-14 belonged to The Weeknd before it ultimately flipped, now the weekend a shell of himself

Frank is above the mysterious label btw

no hes not hes selling cockrings for 20k while acting like a socalist even though even his capitalist ass fled this failed country
his management is also taking down anything they can get their hands on, direspecting fan culture in multiple instances
hes the very definition of the average fake mysterious larper who could never live down their moral standards
im glad he shut his mouth otherwise hed just be a glorified musically gifted hassanabi
