He never rlly has straight up trash beats but hes the king of forgettable ass s***s i.e the nas joints, the benny album, the sean album, etc
Before mfs get on me for s***ting on those projects u cant tell me any of those compare to any given alc or madlib collab project

Man I just have no clue how you could listen to One Way Flight, Ugly, Death Row East, Guard Your Heart, 40-16 Building, or War Paint and call them forgettable
Plus his albums are always engineered amazingly well vs. Alc’s s***ty ass mixing/mastering so I automatically give Hit the higher up (yes feel free to nerd emoji that last point, still stands)

Put some respect on Eddie Sancho and Joe LaPorta. They do an excellent job of engineering Alc’s stuff. Bread EP is a great example of what that trio is capable of.

3 years ago the projects were engineered amazingly, like Evidence’s Weather Or Not
But jeez I don’t know wtf happened, everything they do just sounds awful nowadays. Alfredo, TT4, TEMB are all good projects but they sound so compressed and bad
Think Big from TEMB for example. Straight up sounds like Alc said “make this one sound as unfinished as possible”

I can see your point with KD1 because even tho I like the album I think the production isn’t really a huge standout but KD2? Nah that s*** is incredible
