Trap music can be conscious tho?
Griots come in many shapes and forms. This is inching until classism.

My point aint that trap music cant be conscious it’s that why do we need all these terms stacked on top of each other that does nothing but put more music into a “niche’d” box that in turn leads to a short ceiling for the outreach that said music can expand to versus just calling it conscious or just call it rap.
