Walk from Montmartre to Notre Dame, everything seemed quiet and peaceful.

Don’t know if Macron not accepting the resignation will change anything

macron must immediately appoint Melenchon as PM and call a second snap election. otherwise who cares, itll just be another "socialist" government of the flop Hollande type.

The French left mobilized and organized in weeks to defeat a far right candidate and the reports are they plan to formally recognize Palestine in the coming days. Examples of it being possible to do was all I was asking for in the project 2025 thread

Tories never really seemed "far right" feel like they just be regular democrats in the states....

meanwhile for France the far leftist since the last election gained only 100k new voters vs the far right gained over 6 million voters and the plural majority of voters compared to everyone else...

they went from 3.5 million voters to nearly 10 million

That’s not true though, this vote progression is happening for two reasons :

    • because the far right was present in every district and the left (and not the far left wtf is wrong with you) gave 100 districts to the presidential party to block the far right.
    • for some obscure administrative reason, ultramarine territories regionalist and misc. left not counted as NFP even though they are.

So yeah the far right got more vote progression, but not that much, and the left made people who never usually vote register.
