One thing I’ve wondered after listening to this over the past few days, why has his production selection been relatively bland in the past few years in comparison to this? Or am I way off base?
it hasn't the problem is he drops too many tracks. the streets will never claim a classic for drizzy unless he gives us that 10-15 track concise project,
dont think itd be fair to call clb bland if he kept it to just
you have 10 quality tracks with a wide range of beat selection but instead drizzy wants to sprikle in 11 more tracks and the entire project gets diluted from being a widely considered classic to "filler with gems"
Look how this sits on you whuutttt🤪
Is it me or this is too much like pnd, it’s driving me crazy.
Lyric-wise not really. Its like dite drake. The give it up give it up part is party
How did this not make the album literally called Certified Lover Boy
Bruh im literally dumbfounded as to why he decided to keep this off the album
How did this not make the album literally called Certified Lover Boy
Drake needs to do better truly marrying the album title to the theme of the album, for sure.
More Life was the last time where it felt well tied together imo

they put crack in this, song should feel a lil flat cause the beat not all that and youd think it becomes kinda repetitive but its so f***ing addictive

I think this may have been due to the leaks but I still don’t get why songs like this didn’t make it on, as he still put TSU etc on there.
I need 40/drake to explain the process of reshuffling an album due to circumstance.
slave to the cat, i purr-ove it
If this was on the album Twitter would’ve clowned the s*** out of this line but it’s funny
only the real fans gonna know about this one
haven’t seen any of the blogs post this yet
An album full of Freak in you / Girls Need Love / Neatly / Jaded / F***ing Fans / N 2 Deep would be OD
Sounds boring, but I get what you mean
This thread has not left the top of the music sxn for days maybe I will have to listen to it
