It’s absolutely true and it’s a symptom of our biology as well as our culture that conditions us to have a fantasy. We mask it due to our limitations and inadequacies but if we come even somewhat close to achieve it, our delusions ring out in full force

It is not a symptom of our biology that women are going to gravitate towards fresh and fit

Fam, you're suggesting 3 dudes with zero game can get any woman they want when there are plenty of men with game that have money who women would rather flock to. The fact is most women don't date rich men and even most ig women don't do that. Most people date the average because that's what they see and witness in real time. This has happened since the beginning time. They wouldn't have money without branding themselves as women haters. I already gave you an example of Fresh's dating life. Fit admits he's never had a girlfriend. None of them are getting women because money doesn't change you being a horrible human being with no worth or value at all. Even deranged dudes with rich men complex do better than fresh & fit because they are better with women than these two clowns. Ak literally dated a woman who cheated on him. You're hyping up the absolute worst of men in society and I feel sorry for you

well clearly some men must fulfill the idea of a provider role if this role persisted for centuries for so long, they may not meet the ideal of a provider (nor do a good swath of women meet the ideal of being an attractive thin nurturer) but largely this ideal plays out in most movies, TV shows, books etc. it’s very pervasive

and what do you mean my post is why F&F is popular? and is that a yes for subverting gender norms then?

Historically, those men who fulfilled it were bedding hundreds, even thousands of women. They would have harems. Even after that went away, women were still treated like property and given away to the best man they could get and fulfilled a nurturing role. Throughout human history, even then only a few men actually fit that ideal provider role.

Your previous post asked a question in terms of why we’re getting upset about women’s standards when these are our gender roles and that’s what the F&F podcast was made for. When a man says they want a beautiful and fit woman, we shame them by saying they have no right to ask for that when they’re ugly and got a beer belly. But when a woman asks for a 6 foot tall millionaire as they often state on F&F and get shamed for it, those people get called losers for hitting her with reality? I’m saying that double standard where we call out impossible women standards but expect men to fit their impossible standards is the reason these podcasts got made

A lot of these “stupid women” are basically just the average female user on Twitter, who think the world exists to serve them without working for it.

Those sentiments are truthfully what a lot of women think. I think there’s real value to exposing this mentality in public since most liberal or mainstream outlets tend to contort or warp how a lot of these women really think by focusing on male inadequacies / flaws. The problem with F&F is they use it to spew their own toxic male agendas. But again, I don’t view what they’re doing as any less hurtful than what these other agenda driven outlets from Vox to Buzzfeed to Jezebel to Brietbart to National Review all do

You're kinda right on some of this s***. Especially twitter users. I just think there's an even split of women who would avoid F&F men and wouldn't mind dating them

you don’t have to meet an ideal version of something (cause most ideals are unattainable, they’re ideals lol) in order to fit into a certain role, my overarching point is that historically men have been the provider and protector of their families, whether they were the absolute pinnacle of what that should be is tangential lmao

i had asked you why is it an issue all of the sudden per se, because i kinda guessed that you were somewhat for traditional gender roles, personally i don’t agree with the idea that men should have to provide for women, and women obviously shouldn’t be setting up for a man to provide and take care of them either imho, hence why i have been asking you what your thoughts on roles are

i just think it’s mildly odd to complain about women being entitled or whatever while adhering to the traditional notions of men should do X (provide) and women should do Y (nurture) (not saying you do, but j these F&F + adjacent dudes are usually pretty hyper-masculine and traditional, so it’s confusing)

i also don’t really think these sort of women are as prevalent like how you are saying they are, the evidence you have offered itt is your anecdotal experiences, and Fresh and Fit’s cherry-picked pool of airheaded women telling them what they want to hear and feeding them content for their audience personally, and even if the vast majority of women were indeed like this, it is again reflective of the culture that we live in, versus anything inherent within women that make them think a man should be doing anything and everything for them

F&F literally selects braindead women to justify their hatred of them because those are the women they seek out in real life.

It's like women selecting braindead men who they constantly pursue in real time to justify their hatred for them on a podcast

Yeah, but I’m talking about the aspects of protector/provider pertaining to one’s fitness, height, wealth, power. Very few men actually attain those factors. Most men have to essentially perform as a protector or provider to get women when they don’t have those attributes to be effective and that’s what often leads to their inadequacies and resentment. The difference is that they’re constantly put down and we as a society encourage it but women don’t get that same treatment when they don’t fulfill their gender roles.

I don’t necessarily think traditional gender roles is the best or even ideal scenario anymore. Personally I’d like a woman that is both career and family oriented and is someone I can learn from. But I don’t think there’s any wrong answer. We all deserve to be with somebody that matches what we’re looking for. My issue is with women who want the traditional provider guy but aren’t willing to be traditional themselves. As a society, we shame men for wanting a traditional woman when they don’t match societal standards of the provider but we don’t do the same for women. That’s the hypocrisy that I see.

You’re right that atleast on the surface, most women don’t get these kinds of guys. Some women are smart enough to also know those guys would be headaches because in reality women will always be all over them. Most people have to live in reality. We’re not gonna all be 6 ft buff millionaires just like most women are not gonna be slim beauty queens. But we are biologically and culturally programmed to want these things from the opposite sex. I’ve heard plenty of stories from friends and from family about how they had a marriage or relationship that started off as both partners as equals or maybe even the woman financially supporting the man, but as the man started earning more money or had an idea that took off and they got successful, suddenly the woman wanted to quit her job and be “spoiled” by her man.

    dont do that.

the last few years of content don't take away that podcasts are a dope form of media.
