Not checking for season 2 of this s***, first few episodes were actually decent then it became complete ass

best on the show and somehow they still under utilize him. even the family be forgetting he exist

she was pissing me off so much the last couple episodes. the way she was making Will’s situation all about her, made me mad that nobody checked her over that. Will didn’t need a love interest in this series to begin with, their relationship didnt make him a better character

all of that screen time with her could have went to the family and developing their interactions with each other, especially Ashley

it really could have been great but it felt like they were trying to do too much in one season

one of the things that bothers me about the show is the weird secrecy between characters even when it makes no sense for them to be secretive. such as Phil not telling Viv about firing Geoffrey. like dude

to start, it’s her house too. second, it’s pretty inevitable that she would figure out he’s gone eventually. and when she figures it out, you know she’d be pissed about you not telling her. so why not just tell her from the jump? y’all been married 20+ years

but it was unnecessary bc there were plenty of reasons for Will and Carlton to beef. and considering they ended up close, in hindsight it feels like hella screen time was spent on that when it could have went to other things

The Will/Lisa/Carlton triangle drama should have been finished after 3 episodes. they dragged it out too much

and then in the last 2 episodes while all of Will’s traumatizing family drama was happening, we were expected to give a damn about Lisa’s feelings in regards to it all. like nah fam, we don’t

she’s a trash character and I was one of the people defending her at first

I’ll watch season 2 bc I’m supporting everybody black and I do really like the cast and the concept, just not the execution of certain things
