• Of all of Drake's children or his musical tree: Cruel Santino might be the best disciple of his influence. He is taking International Hip Hop to a realm I ain't seen and it's beautiful.
• 90s R&B, commercial-wise might be the most overrated decade of the genre. It was hella over saturated. Plus, most artists sadly sounded similar to the point where regions and their regional soundscapes got lost. The criticism that Hip Hop gets now on being homogeneous in sound, should be applied to 90s R&B but it doesn't due to being seen with rose tinted glasses.
• In Addition, New Jack Swing is the weakest sub genre of R&B. It had a spark early on in the Late 80s but the sound got way too much abused and used which caused it to be diluted.
• Without Loose Ends, International Export R&B and it’s cultural relevance gets lost. There is no Mark Morrison, Craig David, or hell even Drake.
• Boney James needs his flowers, he's becoming increasingly underrated as time goes on.
• Big Krit is also hella underrated and his influence is starting to peep out.
