S*** is legitimately hard. Idk why I csnt get this parrying down. And even when I think I'm doing well they send multiple enemies. Conquered bloodborne and dark souls 3 but this is bullshit
UPDATE
So I ended up coming back to it and it finally clicked with me.
I've made it all the way to the final boss and I gotta say, the games great. I almost gave up on it so thank you ktt for bringing me around. I'm at the last boss now so we'll see how it goes. The game for me got alot easier after genichiro. That dude was the wall for me.

Since u playd Bloodborne and dark souls you know this is the typical start. Game is hard as s*** until you get down the mechanics then it's fun as s***
don't play Sekiro like Bloodborne and Dark Souls. The game is more like a rhythm game. Taking on multiple enemies is brutal. Stealthing a few is ideal
also unlock Mikiri counter as soon as you can. It's essential.
That fat f*** boss pissed me off so bad I haven’t played since it came out. Blood borne >>>
How long it take y’all to beat this game? Took me 16hrs.
20ish. The learning curve coming from Souls was brutal at first but once it clicked it was some of the funnest s*** I ever played. Last boss is god tier. Up there with Gael and Orphan.

How tf do you get these mechanics down. Idk why I cabt learn the s***

I've been trying. It's taking me longer to learn this one. I thought I had it right after the first boss. But i cant even get past the f***ing bull
Wait till you get to the last boss
I cant even get to the second boss. I'm stuck on the f***ing bull

How? I cant even save up 500 coins to get the f***ing firecrackers

Parry everything you can (including the bull)
and learn your Mikiri counters as well as when to dodge/jump. When that big red symbol pops up it's the game telling you to do one of the three. Like @Kabel said it's a rhythm game.

Don't parry by tapping block
Try to parry by holding block and let go of the block button and then immediately hold block again
That will make you parry the attack the moment you hold block the second time and you don't get hit if you mess up

Gotta try this

Circle run around him and stab him 1-2 times in the ass when he's sliding around. Repeat
Wait till you get to the last boss
Can't wait to come back to this thread and find out OP sold his game cause Sword Saint aint play nice

I beat the bull without parrying once, didn't even know u could parry it tbh

Also don't forget you have unlimited stamina unlike DarkSouls/Bloodborne. Abuse your running ability when you can. The bull is one of the few bosses you just wanna run around and get a few hits in like Pusha said.
Also pay attention to the orange sparks when you're attacking an enemy because it means they parried you and will attack back right away so you can be prepared to parry them back.

yeah i also fought the bull before i figured out how important parrying was i didn’t really understand how to play the game until Genichiro

this dude knows what he’s talking about. running + effectively parrying during boss fights are VITAL in this game
also most of the bosses you just gotta chip away at their health slowly. like trust, if you think that bull is hard, wait til you get to Genichiro and then the two Guardian Apes

Working on this now. I haven't beaten the bull but ended up in hinata estate and I'm doing better. Not dying to everything in sight.
This game different than souls for sure

I'll probably quit at that point I just wanted to get like halfway in at the very least unless I enjoy the game
