and learn your Mikiri counters as well as when to dodge/jump. When that big red symbol pops up it's the game telling you to do one of the three. Like @Kabel said it's a rhythm game.

Yea I fought her and took her to the 2nd phase.. but dude I think im going out of order with the boss fights. Like I was trying to fight her before the snake encounter
I jumped back into the real world and beat that Horse/Spear guy 1st try and the Bull 2nd try. Just started to get my posture and Ashina skills up.
