Yeah, it's Drake. Not Michael Jackson.

Y’all remember when we had that thread about whether Drake was bigger than MJ and the Beatles

Drake will never make anything good as the Black Album. For me, Drake is now in the singles artist category. There are always some songs on his albums i like but the majority is just meh

Strong disagree tbh. 4:44 smoking NWTS when it comes to production. Blueprint as well

Maybe if we are talking about rap beats, but NWTS production is beautiful music (not saying 4:44 isn’t)

Jay-Z has more than one uncontested classic, I'm not sure what you're getting at here

Ah you're absolutely right on that front. I have Jay Z in my top 5.
The point of my quote was you claiming Jay Z being bad outside outside of a few albums is ironic since Drake's discography is filled with mid

Whenever you ask people how many good albums Jay Z has they mention the same 3 to 4 projects

3-4 out of 16 albums is honestly enough to keep him out of these conversations

Rap fans have their weird narratives & biases, I don’t think I’ll ever understand it

It’s crazy how Singh is King really has a monopoly over gossip threads

There is no Michael Jackson of other genres; the enthusiasm Micheal brought and the touch that he had to many people around the world (not even speaking about his music) was something that is extremely hard to replicate and to even argue that someone is the "Michael Jackson" of something ends up being a reach

Ehhh. Lol he had some cool rap beats on NWTS. Nothing on the level of a Smile, a 4:44, a family feud, etc.

And tbh 4:44 isn’t even Jay z best produced album. I only named it cause it’s his most recent.

Here’s the thing tho. Notice how you shifted to production (neither drake nor Hov produce) because if we focused on the rapping and music itself it isn’t even close

    Jay z wins
