holy s*** the next episode is anthology and last episode must be last
i feel like ep10 will be either the GOAT or WOAT finale of a season lol
i dont think its make or break, bc this season has been amazing but i feel like it will def f*** with fans if they go full twin peaks s2 ending on us, just to give us what "the fans really want" in s4 (return to atlanta and focus on main cast)
They shoehorned her into this season. She has no reason to be in Europe with them.
And that’s fine but why gas it like “I really love what they did with Van this season her arc is amazing”……we barely gotten anything
zazie has enough power and stardom to not go to the show and say that, and with such little episodes left without the main cast, im assuming that there will be a full episode (like there usually is) dedicated to her
im excited to see where she goes, what her ambitions are now, and so much more
but i know they're gonna give us something completely diff than what we expect
this s*** is fr not a sitcom
damn we might actually never find out if al owns his masters
The only reason they would reference back the masters is if Earn was lying. It’s safe to assume Earn is telling the truth if we don’t hear about it again
I actually remember when they had the casting for a trans woman crazy this is finally the episode and they don’t even mention it
This is why I initially thought his character was tripping on them saying he smashed.
So it’s confusing that they threw the mom element in there. And did he go to that club on his own? Did his “mom” lead him there?
People were saying earlier in this thread (maybe it was even you idk lol) that this season will be more appreciated once the shows over and years have passed but I vehemently disagree.
I think if anything you'll have lots of praise from the usual "nah, it's deep. y'all just not thinking" groups and in five years everyone will wonder, "why the f*** did they decide to waste that amazing cast with half the season not including them and the other 5 episodes not going anywhere?"
Obviously there is common themes that are prevalent throughout this season that all tie together but goddamn
That’s the most frustrating thing
They’re wasting a good chunk of the last 18 or so episodes doing weird side episodes when there are so many unanswered/unexplored things with the main cast/premise
Stupid b**** thought she knew al's life just because she didn't like a hat and didn't know what masters were
But she did cuz she told him Darius didn’t pay in the coffee shops and Earn was his manager when he never even verbally said that he was a rapper lol

wait till that s3 finale air and we get them s4 promo clips
Earn dropping out of Princeton.. it was implied that there was an incident that led to him leaving which we still don’t know about. In the first episode, Al repeatedly asked “what happened at Princeton?” but Earn refused to give an answer. him having a kid seemed to happen afterwards
I took the family ordeal Uncle Willy was referencing as foreshadowing/setup to the main conflict of S2, which was friction in Earn and Al’s relationship due to Earn failing in his duties as manager and the presence of Tracy. but that conflict between them was mostly revolved at the end of 2
Earn also mentioned he was still mad at Willy about what happened between him and his mother… another thing we still don’t have the full story on. so in that vein, I just dont see the masters thing coming up again. It’d be cool if it did and I wouldn’t mind being wrong but we’ll just have to see
Niggas write every episode the day before they go shoot
im telling yall man, the one off episodes are great. i love the main cast, and wanna see that plot develop, but im so happy with how they came out and excited to see where they go
i never thought i could get such a nuanced character portrait on a woman that had absolutely no screen time outside of a couple of PHOTOGRAPHS!
needles to say three slaps, is get out level of quality in like 30/35 min
i feel just as frustrated, but when nigga said this is black twin peaks, niggas meant it
aint no explaining s*** here, u just gotta roll with the punches fr
these one off episodes are just amazing short films i really wish the people whose biggest criticism is wanting more main cast episodes, see the value in the anthology ones, when the show is over
Lets just keep it real, the anthology episodes have blown out all the episodes with the main characters
Also, what happened to socks?
The same thing that happens with every episode's minor plots.
Anthology episodes have been so good
p much every "normal" episode has been a miss for me tbh

Catching up on S3 and came in here to say this lol
The first episode of this new season, WTF man
That s*** was f***in CRAZY
Such a weird way to start after being gone so long
Anthology episodes have been so good
p much every "normal" episode has been a miss for me tbh
Feel the total opposite, the first episode was incredible tho
Tell me why my favorite part of episode 3 was when Van kept pushing waiters into the pool for NO REASON
I’m laughing way too hard at that s***
