he admitted in an interview that he wanted to end the show at season 2 but the fans and network wanted more so here it is. but yeah it’s pretty obvious that he’s not really interested in these characters anymore. this season is an experiment for him and the writers to flex and show range at writing whatever they want to write about lol

and I’m enjoying their experiments but it’s bittersweet

He wasn’t acting black online. He called them the hard R. He was acting white and racist.

It’s a character arc. He’s finally embracing his black side due to the events that happened.

i don’t think they were framing it as a good thing at the end

the look at the camera seemed like it was supposed to incite a “this nigga… ” type of reaction while being hilarious at the same time. I know that’s how I felt lol

despite that changeup and all he went through in the ep, Aaron still failed to understand what it really means to be black. it sort of reinforces what Neeson said last episode - white people don’t have to learn from their experiences if they don’t want to

I would be so okay with Atlanta coming to an end after the homecoming season.

But I would love for him to dove more into this black Mirror-Esque bag.

Twilight zone with peele got canceled, and I don’t think they make black mirror anymore, so it’s the perfect time for a show like this to thrive with the lack of competition.

I hope season 4 of Atlanta is back to the roots and no more anthologies, but I also hope they go ahead and do a spin-off show that’s focused on the anthology in because it is really interesting even more so than Atlanta itself.

I enjoyed the episode (I think others were better) but it’s just jarring how after two seasons the show direction completely changed and it’s honestly a little frustrating to me. Like there’s so much going on for the actual main cast and we barely are getting real insight. I’m glad others are enjoying it and on its surface I’ve enjoyed each episode but I wish we could focus on the actual story a little more

This show is a rare breed we gotta appreciate this type of writing while its still on TV cus niggas is making hella trash and running their shows into the ground for 8 seasons straight, taking no risks, and just trying to make spinoffs or fanservice ass stories

Crazy to think the ride is almost over. With Donald working on some bullshit with Chloe and mr and mrs smith reboot i think its safe to say there won't be another show like this ever again. Shoutout to FX for seeing the vision and letting hiro, donald and the boys cook

I think this show will ultimately become a period piece. It will be interesting to see some kid in 2032 (if we even make it that far as a species) look back on a show like this. Given the increase in interracial dating in the last 50 years i think there will be more people that more resemble Aaron than just 100% black or 100% white
