Kinda hard to believe this is ending on thurs
Luckily we only have to wait a few months for S4
New Jazz episode was damn good
See this is the Atlanta I love
When the weird s*** happens to the characters and we get the moral of the story that way
Not these one off stories
5,6 & 8 have def been the best episodes so far
Will probably save episode 9 to watch with the finale
I dont get why y’all come in so vehemently with these types of opinions without explaining why. can you elaborate on why you didn’t like the episode?
None of the humor in the episode landed with me. This kid can handle mango curry his dad finds too spicy. I feel like the writers intended the accents at the funeral to be funny. I liked the Chet Hanks nod, but this episode didn't get one laugh out of me
Atlanta is a show where things happen without explanation. But this episode felt a bit too random without giving the viewer any answers. Who was sending this dude a picture of an anus and why did they do that?? Who was desperately trying to send him that envelope? I didn't get the point of the photo at first, but my bro said he saw it as her being there for Bash on school picture day which is something parents usually do
I get the commentary about white people adopting black culture, but I'm not sure how common it is in America for black children to suffer because parents are busy raising white children. I don't think what it's trying to say with that is relatable for a lot of people. That makes it the weakest of these anthology episodes imo
I'm always willing to explain myself, but people in here are replying to me with "L" and saying I'm wrong without saying what they think is redeemable about it or which episodes they think was worse than this one

As a black new yorker who literally grew up going to school in tribeca (a few blocks away from the family’s apartment tbh) and saw all of my white friend’s Caribbean nannys every single daya, it all made perfect sense to me
i love this show. the direction etc, but ive always felt donald was one those super white kids that was bullied. but when ppl started reclaiming blackness he took it as a opportunity to get something cool out of himself (which is nun wrong with that) but like jeez. outside of maybe the last one and the first one. these stand alones and even some of the main episodes really fall apart cuz i be expecting something weird or crazy to pop off, cuz they give weird set ups, only to just say “racism is bad”.

The way I got familiar with that world, was because at my old job working retail, all these Caribbean women would be coming into the store shopping with white babies in their strollers. I ended up f***ing an older woman from Belize. She would tell me how s*** was on the job. The episode was surprisingly accurate in its portrayal of the actual parents
