They really should’ve waited at least a year for season 4 from a marketing standpoint
My guess is he wants it out of the way so he can pursue his next project (either music or acting or whatever he does next)
Light 7/10
S2 was 10 S1 was a 9
S3 might grow on me when i can watch the full show but its not bad whatsoever
I don’t really see myself going back to any Episode of S3, except for maybe the mansion episode. Easily best episode
The rest were just like

Damn I feel like most people really liked Three Slaps and New Jazz
Interesting that you only liked Old Man And The Tree. I don't rank that very high in season 3, and i don't see the episode brought up very often
Season 3 is better than ppl realize. Took me until literally 2 weeks ago to sort this out in my head. In the moment it was disappointing, but looking back on it, it’s pretty strong. Def not 2 or 1 level but it’s up there.
Sooo i remember seeing reports a while ago that season 4 would only be 8 episodes.
But now publications are saying we are getting a 10 episode season, AND we are getting 2 episodes for the premiere
WE WON

when s4 makes clear why the s3 finale had to be as unhinged as it was
when the fans unite under van supremacy
vive la reinè

Literally 2 seasons in one year
This looks like a return to form. Season 3 had a few good episodes but was a bit disjointed overall. The themes just weren't as resonant.

I gotta stop reading interviews with these writers. they’re so annoying that it f***s with my excitement level a little bit

Literally best season of television since TP S3
Stupid that they label this season 4 when it’s dropping in the same year. You could have just extended the length of season 3 and came back after a mid season finale. It’s not like half of season 3 was filler anyway. Where is the common sense?

It’s a new season bro

Each season of Atlanta has a different tone and themes
Season 3 was dark and serious with a Europe setting, season 4 is going to have a fun tone and set in ATL
Wouldn't make sense to have a 20 episode season that completely changes tone and setting in the middle of it
