Genuinely one of the most creative episodes of the entire show

I like season 3 and its anthology eps but these pretentious rebuttals aren’t it

people wanting this show to have an actual storyline =/= wanting it to be a black Dave

the one-off episodes simply aren’t for everybody and that’s okay. liking or disliking them doesn’t make you more or less intelligent than the average person nor is it a test of your views on race. like all art, the s*** is subjective

need the screenplay for all of them

The actual creator of Goofy Movie loved it.

And because it’ll probably result in an uptick of streams of that movie.

One of my biggest takeaways from this episode and I still don't think a proper discourse has been had about "othering" in the black community.

I gravitated towards a lot of white kids growing up simply because of the bullying.
I related so much to the Thomas character. Love for animation, lazy eye, dark skin. Even my family was calling me white. It wasn't untill growing up and realizing my existence was just as black/valid as anyone else's.

A lot of us have to wake up and reclaim that s*** during late teens, early adulthood. So many people won't admit this but as a little kid who's different in any way it's not uncommon to reject your blackness. It's not until you grow up and truly realize first hand how important it is. Sorry for the paragraph but this show brings a lot of repressed emotion out i swear.
