So they cleared up Darius being asexual or not and cleared up his family situation
When he said he was asexual? I know he said something bout his balls getting f***ed up so many that got sumn to do wit it
It saddens me this is the last episode I will be commenting on.
Darius and his grief meant a lot in this episode, the way he looked at the gang at the end was how we look at them.
Darius brother “I want you out there not in here”
Wow.
Was any of this real?
and if it were not, what does it matter.
Incredible show
Will get the box set 100%

Many people in the fandom assumed because he never had a love interest

Lol that’s a dumb assumption for ppl to make. Al never was in anything serious either, just a couple throwaway hoes
the vodka water bottle lmaooo
They can’t be Cree Summers bro, shorty look young as hell
I think they talking about the lady Darius was talking to in the pharmacy
Obviously but s4 is much closer to s3 than s1/2 is. Different sides of the same coin
You get it
saw the ambiguous ending coming at the end, especially because they've been referencing sopranos a lot talking about the finale
so then I thought this shot was pretty funny, where it's a zoom in on Darius with Glover holding a troll face in the background

so many great moments tho, I'd probably have to put this in top 3 or 5 finales oat
Big difference is Sopranos last season built up the ending and alluded to ideas being possible. This? It was never established that everything could have been a part of Darius imagination. This was just a lazy attempt to be added to that conversation.

In what way?

eh, I would disagree. I think the surrealism of the show has been set up for 4 seasons yet there's never been an explanation offered. why are cars invisible, Justin Bieber white, and hands served for dinner?
on a surface level, ending a surreal show on "it was all a dream" does seem lazy and predictable, which makes it bold to play with that idea and purposefully leave it up to interpretation
it was a courageous choice and worked well imo, but I've enjoyed almost all of the controversial choices this show has made

That’s because everything wasn’t Darius imagination…
I think the entire point flew over ya head and you loooking at it from a very surface “omg it was all a dream” level
Also lmao @ seasons 3 haters when s4 is really the same thing just back in Atlanta
S4 is a mix of what I like about S3 and S2 rather than being just like either one
Seeing them all pull out in the pink Maserati was beautiful.
one of my favorite scenes in the show, so much joy in that moment
If anything, I feel like Darius bodied himself in the tank. Drowned face down
I think Darius broke the barrier, he straight saw, touched, spoke to his dead brother. I don't think anyone else got that far. Paperboy saw his mom but it was more like her echo
That's his "getting out". Earn going west coast with van, paperboy finally getting disillusioned with it all and going farm mode. Darius retreats so far into his own mind, he's stuck

This is legendary

The ending is metaphorical, it doesn't actually matter what's real and what's not, and it's not telling people to look at the show like it's all Darius's imagination.
The whole show was like a dream to each of us, and it doesn't matter if we have to wake up from it or not bc we got to spend time with these characters (and low-key each other bc I loved talking about this show with you guys)

Bro this ending's supposed to be a happy one, get out of here with this depressing ass Darius death theory

turn on subtitles
