Finale was very mid right? Felt like we werent rewarded at all. All that build up to be left with blue balls.
Didn't even leave anything to be excited for next season.
they kinda blew their load in the penultimate episode huh
still a very well done and enjoyable show. about as good as you can ask for from a historical drama like that, it exceeded my expectations

Ehh, I get that but it didnt feel like there was any "final act". So things just get concluded off screen which doesnt feel rewarding.
Still enjoyed the show but I was always waiting for that moment where things hit a climax.
Is this worth starting and watching?
Yes
Finale was great.
So that old John was kinda like a hallucination since he threw away the cross and fully became devoted to Toranaga and the Japanese and will never return to England
Interesting ending quite good. This was Tobunagas story afterall. I liked Yabushiges point that this is somewhat the story of the "unsung" heroes that sacrificed their life for him to become Shogun.
