felt like the plot was losing steam after nagakado's death and the introduction of lady ochiba

I finally finished it. It was obvious that Toranaga had something up his sleeve, given the name of the show. The ending was subtle rather than bombastic, which initially left me a just little unsatisfied, but after digesting everything properly, I thought it was a good ending.

Torunaga couldnt kill Anjin cause he would have nobody left at this point lmfao. To imagine even Buntaro sacrificed himself (but managed to survive) bro Toranaga really out here sacrificing the entire cast

Tbh on the one hand, it revolts me because, this is a classic example of corporate greed. The story has been told, move on.

On the other hand, with the right writers, I guess there is an opportunity to explore Anjin's character and his relationship with the villagers further. Which could be interesting. But the tone has to be very specific.

They must've threw Hiroyuki a extra deluxe bag for him to put pen to paper for S2.

I'm hesitant of the basis that there is nothing more to adapt

But I'm not against returning to this story if done right
