I respect it, very solid tape too, but is it necessarily mature music from a 35 year old future?

Immediately locked for making this point

Juice Wrld said Cudi was his favorite rapper and I believe him

This who I actually was thinking of when I made this post

Like nigga you did not listen to Kid Cudi and Odd Future growing up making that generic ass Internet music 😭😭

None of they s*** sounds nothing like that you just tryna sound interesting and cool

Uzi to when he was saying 808s and heartbreak

Sometimes when you have a very powerful artist like Cudi, it's possible that his songs invoke certain emotions and feelings and those feelings are valid, m'kay? You know, another thing that brings up some of these feelings is hallucinogens, which I know both of you have been doing, m'kay? So why don't you just sort of relax and maybe take this as an opportunity to meditate, m'kay? Go inside yourselves, look inward

    Yea look inwards butthead

The only song that I felt was too childish from Travis was maybe the scotts, I don’t get the argument for any other instance, is it just because he collabed with fortnite, birds and Astro are listened to by every age demographic that listens to current Rap

His music is just to f***ing dumbed down

Nigga trav is basically a mascot at this point

No I agree, Future damn near 40 still rapping about drinking lean and poppin pills but that’s for another thread

But if he still does it all why is it a bad thing? Mans just rapping his life, its what he been doing his whole career

    I outgrew Cudi.
I wish he would've grew with his core audience instead of targeting "the kids"

I was on his live and he refers to his fans as kids. Nigga I am almost 30 and so is most of the mf's that started off listening to you

    He's named KID Cudi bro

We need to start accepting rappers/artist that debut in their mid 20's maybe they'll have more to talk about. Notice how all the Legends debuted late twenties. See how much they're able to pull from?

All these new guys over the last decade blew up in their late teens early twenties. They don't have s*** to talk about anymore.

Dababy blew up at 29 and barely talked about his life in his albums, Nas dropped illmatic at like 19 and it’s considered an all time classic.

Age has nothing to do with it

I disagree on Da Baby. He has a lot of deep cuts he goes into detail about the trauma of his childhood and life before fame.

Also Nas lived ina different time and he's also an exception because not alot of rappers had debuts as impactful at that age

Focused way too much about what niggaz listens to. Go stan what you like and keep it moving. Regardless of age. F*** I look like worried about what a nigga could say?

It’s just lame MFs that think they too cool to listen to music lmao

Like when MFs say “I listened to this band in middle school but now I hate them!”

Suddenly when you leave middle school, you can’t like the same music when you an adult? Lmao
