They added in a lot of different vehicles, grapple mechanics, ways to return to glider, and these vehicles and objects change each season. They also added sliding and ziplines. Along with warps to the sky and portals to other sections of the map. You can easily find ways to get from one side of the island to the other extremely quickly and in fun ways.

They’ve definitely made it easier and given more options but I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s fun. The fun part is the fighting and RNG what loot you get.
