i've said it multiple times, if israel used their clearly superior political, economic, and social power over Palestine to
- support peaceful, democratic, progressive Palestinian movements
- didn't uphold a theocratic political system that designated non-jews as second class citizens
- opposed the forceful settling of Palestinian settlements
- develop and advance the standing of Palestinian people
- create narratives of a united, multiethnic Levant
then it would not be a black and white issue. Instead, their power is used to
- provide money and legislative support to Hamas to manufacture consent for violence
- uphold a theocratic political system that designated non-jews as second class citizens
- explicitly support, finance, and arm radical EUROPEAN settlers in the West Bank that uproot century of indigenous lineage
- take great relish in the destruction and death of the Palestinian people
- Paint the Palestinians, Muslims, and wider Arab people in a derogatory, racist light
so, in reality, I think the first problem to solve is to retract all of these policies or any policies that have to do with these qualities of Israel
