I kind of agree except that some form of retaliation was warranted but they have overdone it now.

I wonder where was this energy when USA was bombing the snot out of afghanistan after 9/11 though? Im sure if anyone was keeping track the civilian death count would have been quite high but dont remember there being much outrage

Are you 1. Young 2. Dumb as s*** or 3. Brainwashed to not remember the outrage against the wars in iraq and afghanistan?

I keep forgetting Americans’ concept of the Muslim world remains the same as it was when viewing Afghanistan in 2002

    Utterly embarrassing

This is pretty much how politics works.

Bibi has tried to manage, minimize the conflict. It spectacularly failed on Oct 7 and there has been a massive swing to the centre, rejecting the extremist far-right. How is that a bad thing?

Before Oct 7 there was also a normalisation going on between Israeli Palestinians that's worth noting, even in East Jeruaslem: https://www.washingtoninstitute.org/policy-analysis/new-poll-reveals-moderate-trend-among-east-jerusalem-palestinians

Since Oct 7 Arab-Israelis feel even closer to Israel: https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/israels-arab-minority-feels-closer-country-war-poll-finds-2023-11-10/

These trends show a clear rejection of extremism. That is a good thing. I don't know why more nuanced, anti-Extremist views on this are so frowned upon in online American spaces, it's really weird and tribal for some reason.

Bibi has tried to manage, minimize the conflict.

Netanyahu’s own words disprove your paper thin arguments bro

In the past thirty days, the Zionist Project has

    • REHABILITATED NAZIS????

    • Lied about the casualty count in the aftermath of the 10/07 attack (fewer than 800 names have been released and the death count has been lowered twice???? How do you lower a death count???)

    • proven to be, or admitted to, lying about rape, beheaded infants, infants placed in ovens, hostage release talks, the attitudes of hostage’s families (using paid actors), hospital bombings, human shields, and even the very nature of how civilian casualties occurred on 10/07

    • Purposefully targeted journalists, healthcare workers, hospitals, and food supplies, even incorporating the targeting of journalists into press statements by heads of state

    • Prevented any sort of food or water from entering Gaza.

    • Used white phosphorus, unknown chemical weapons, blade missiles, gun-drones, and thousand-pound munitions with such little discrimination that even their estimates put the Hamas:civilian casualty rate at less than 1% (IOF has claimed to have killed 60 Hamas)

    • Been criticized by hostages and their families for their mishandling of quite literally every aspect of the past month as they continue to refuse ceasefires that would allow for hostage releases.

    • Killed scores of foreign citizens, UN workers, and other foreign volunteers

    • Prevented the release of all Thai hostages, who’s release was already organized to occur upon the arrival of ANY ceasefire

    • characterised the Gaza war as a war of race, in which the Palestinians, described as “people of darkness” and “Amaleks,” needed to be erased

    • Killed 300 people and ethnically cleansed thousands more in the West Bank , a place without Hamas

    • Begun ethnically cleansing the Armenian Christians of Jerusalem, and essentially wiped out the oldest Christian community in the world in Gaza.

    • Held 10,000 Palestinian workers hostage, tagging them with numbers like cattle, and subsequently torturing them before releasing some of them back home

    • Encouraged its citizens to support the war, who all seem to be vocally enthusiastic for the flattening of Gaza so it can be replaced with Starbucks and Amusement Parks

    • Killed 20,000 people by its own admission

    • Enacted laws that imprison anyone showing sympathy to Palestinians, persecuting even other Jewish citizens in the Project

    • Sent over 100 tanks into an area whose closest thing to an armed force is multiple popular militias with small arms and homemade rocketry.

    • Turned the good impartial folks at CNN into its literal mouthpiece, not allowing them to publish eyewitness accounts without their express consent

    • Attempted to import 100,000 Indian foreign workers to replace the violently repressed Palestinian labor force in Israel

This is not even diving into what the US has done, what the corporate journalist works has done, what Europe has done, what Israel has done in the past, and exactly what lying has been done to devalue the Palestinian people and their cause for liberation in the eyes of the west

To say anyone’s support for violent and direct Palestinian or pro-Palestinian resistance should come with any sort of prerequisite or precondition in the face of this kind of situation is nothing short of barbarism. To give Israel even an inch of credence is barbarism. The stated and intended goal of Palestinian liberation has been the end of the Zionist project and the introduction of a multiethnic, equitable, democratic, indigenous land, something antithetical to Zionism and what it stands for

The Zionist marginalisation of the multi-ethnic nature of Jewish people through its persecution of non-Hebrew Jewish language, Beta-Israelis, the Mizrahi, and other non-Zionist Jews, all combined with its justification of genocide as a protection of the Jewish faith, only further contribute to the proof of there being a facade of this being some sort of crusade against anti-semitism

"I'm cool with a settler apartheid state as long as they're not 'extremist far right'" liberals are so funny man

Ignore 75 years of history & the asymmetry of the conflict to prop up your myopic worldview that can only grasp electoralism & polls from pro-israel """independent""" think tanks

Hope you get gunned down by extremists in GTA 6 fr

The 90s were the golden era in Israel -Palestinian relations, peace was inevitable. There was no seperation barriers or blockades. Oslo happened, then came the extremists on both sides. Rabin got assasinated and Hamas started their endless suicide bombings. They didn't want reconcilliation. Extremism on both sides ruined it.

I'm surprised nobody seems to know what I mean by Bibi's conflict management strategy. It's not a secret and of course it seeks to minimise the chance of a Palestinian state. Anyway it's over now. Two states, West Bank disengagement etc are back as the only viable options. But only if the extremists are sidelined.

Half those groups overwhelming vote Likud. Moroccan Jews are the most conservative right-wing group in Israel. Where are you copying this stuff from?

Yeah fam my family is all afghan born and most of them vote R, despite the very obvious lack of benefit from doing so

The lens of contemporary electoralism doesn’t refute history

Israeli society is dominated by Mizrahi and Sephardi Jews, they are the majority and they run the culture. The fact you think Zionism has succesfully persecuted them makes no sense.

Does anyone have any articles or videos showing how Hamas is something israel's wanted and shaped through their actions as part of an an attempt to delegitimize Palestinians and Palestinian resistance?
