@mythic_ @Puccesa @Jjjjesse you got any suggestions on where I can get thermals and thin wool layers, gonna be on the move in the city more than past winters

I'd go to the milsurp store downtown but I don't go anywhere indoors unless it's absolutely necessary so need some online options.

Looking for reccs on a relatively thick vegan biker jacket. Finally retiring my Paul Smith after 5 years. Lining is disintegrating and I've already had it repaired once. Figure it's a good time to move on from leather too

from what i've heard and seen vegan leather is just not gonna be a good look, better off maybe finding secondhand so you aren't consuming new leather product directly?

@waterbug my bad on taking so long to get back to you with a question but what do you think of these pics for both shoes (gonna post the wallys in another post here since you can only have 10 embeds per post)?

That's my username for both my eBay and depop, any problems with using the same one and posting on both (expecting the NBs to move on eBay, wallys on depop)?

Also any tips on title/description? NBs are brand new, unworn with tags and the wallabees were worn once on a 20 minute walk.

Thank you so much, can't tell you how much I appreciate this.

depop only allows 4 photos so youre gonna have to pick and choose which of these are what you want. theyre actually crisp af which i appreciate but i think youre lacking the like main photo here, try to get a shot of the whole shoe thats not that fancy because people are gonna get a good look of them. other than that these are all really nice, probably better than mine tbh.

Could you help me pick three for both of these and then for the fourth - should I take that from above or in front?

bc depop only allows 4 photos you dont need to put any photos of the box but i think it a nice plus. if you did do that for the nbs id advise trying to mix those first 3 photos into one somehow. i would probably use 4,6 and a box photo for the last one and then retake a photo to use for the first shot.

for the wallabees id do pretty much the same using 2 and 3.
for that main shot id pick like a side/front angle. just find an angle that has a good overall view of the shoe.

i do think having a nice photo of the box helps.

When you say use a box photo you mean one of them that shows the sizing patch, right?

So for main photo try to go for a side/front angle for both shoes?

Also what should I do for the description?

And my bad, when I mentioned three for both of these I was trying to make sure that out of the photos I had already posted I had good photos to make up the main photo that I'm going to take soon (I'm going to take a bunch and ask you about them later today, kind of shook that out of all those none hit for a main)

    Again...thank you so much

it doesnt have to show the label but im sure it would help. i think just letting them know you have the box in good condition just looks nice and subconsciously tells the seller you cared for the shoes.

it doesnt have to be of both shoes but honestly just get a good overall profile of it. these for reference does a good job (not mine btw lol)

for the description just freeball it. rating the overall condition is probably the best thing you can do. other than that you can just add whatever you want. how it fits, where you bought from, retail price (if selling lower than retail) etc.

your photos are really nice though, you could realistically use those and it would probably be fine. im only saying you need a good overall photo bc you only have 4 photos to show them.

Word, again thank you so so so much esp for being through and good looks on providing the reference picture - if I do decide to take more photos that's a huge help and good for the future. I'll let you know if I got any more

does anyone know what this type of jacket is called? I think its a blouson but internet gives me really conflicting answers.

also does anyone have any nicer alternatives to it? preferably in wool with a nicer cut and same pockets. these are similar:

Hard to find these in Canada but I guess I gotta look harder. How’s the sizing on the fatigues?

@mythic_ you got any tips on finding stan ray in Canada or on his original question (good pants in olive, less than WIP pricing wise)?

    I'd say TTS

There's a few stockists, Four horsemen in Victoria has a good selection. Sizing varies by fit

Anyone know if Church’s loafers are worth it for $250 ? Heard the quality isn’t as good as it used to be post Prada

  • Oct 29, 2020

@alphabear please delete your posts in wdywt as it is not the thread to be asking questions

At the end of the day your style should be something personal to you so you should wear stuff that you feel confident in. It doesn’t matter what color your skin is if you wanna dress like an eboy do it, who cares. I’d recommend lurking for a bit and learning ( can look through fotd archive or wdywt for inspo) then just hunt for clothes which is half the fun

Good luck, post your questions here and only post your outfits in the other thread
