ZokkonNeed new shoes. Basically the best way i can describe the style I want is something a peasant or monk would wear lol. Even better if they have goodyear welt soles like the visvim Foley Folk
I'd like something that can show age well (leather?) and is just for walking/casual use. Am I gonna have to go to 'artisanal' brands for this?
Open to more sneaker type shoes as well, Yeezy has the best colour identity i've seen but none of their models are lowkey enough for me, if only the 500 models didn't have the giant soles
I would replace the soles on a destroyed pair of YYPH shoes I have now but tbh the sizing was always a bit off
Guidi, CCP & Marsell all manufacture derby shoes. Red Wing Postman’s might be your best bet, half the peasant look comes from wearing the shoes in

CCP and Guidi always been on my radar, i'll check out Marsell
FWIW I've been wearing these yohji sneakers
which are very similar to converses I guess. The reason I like them is cuz I can wear them with shorts and I already have doc derbies. Might be better off getting some plush Yeezy sneakers for shorts/hot weather and then something like Marsell for everything else

Ahh those are nice. Check out Moonstar or Reproduction of Found too they have some very lowkey sneakers.
