a timeless style is valid but i personally wouldn't consider alpha industries ones timeless, just because i feel their MA-1s have this certain oversized glossy kind of aesthetic that feels very representative of the early-mid 2010 kind of streetwear (maybe not as much their fault as the MA-1 was a very fast fashion IT item during that period)

you certainly could repurpose it into something else but to me i never really had a great attraction to it
