I sort of understand the stress of serving customers and having to keep a bar clean, but I don't think it could ever be worse than
some labor job where I'm literally destroying my back everyday doing the same s*** over and over.I'm good at learning tbh, also, dont they have the things on the bottles that basically measure out your pours for you
it’s fun but it’s still physical labour
i know hella bartenders who have f***ed their body up (predominately their hands/wrists/back)yeah you can get a speed pourer that’ll auto measure 30mL/1oz but that’s more useful if you’re only serving G+Ts all night, if you’re a cocktail bartender it’s kinda useless
but give it a try, it’s worth the experience imo

This restaurant I applied to had me take a 'Bartending quiz'...
I didn't know there was so much vocabulary to study
S*** would be easy to learn tho, show me a study guide and it is done.
Yeah pretty much just learn the menu and also add some personal touches to the drinks too
