So my girlfriend has been living in a relatively high-end apartment for a few years now.

I'm long-distance with her for the time being, and visit every few months.

There are guys who rotate and work security at the front desk, and she mentioned over a year ago how she thought one of them had a "little crush" on her. I didn't think much of it and laughed it off.

After that, a lot of weird s*** happened.

When I was visiting her regularly, we started hearing strange sounds near the door at night. In that time, my girlfriend noticed that the specific security guard would become uncharacteristically outgoing to her when we would leave/exit the building.

When I was gone, he wouldn't say a word to anyone. He was quiet by nature.

The sounds stopped a few days after I went back home.

Guards do rounds at night regularly, but this sounded off.

Fast forward to the next time I visited, and this same security guard changed his fit to MATCH MINE. He's worn the same fit (company uniform) for 3 YEARS. I arrive wearing a denim jacket, and the next day he has one that looks EXACTLY the same.

Today, my second day visiting my gf after a few months, we were bringing our cat home from a walk. Her breed is known to be hyper-intelligent, but she's relatively shy/skittish.

She prefers being at home, but we've been getting her used to the outdoors lately.

She always begs us to open the door when we get home, but today she didn't do that.

Instead, she put her head to the floor and started sniffing intently. She smelled both of our shoes, then kept sniffing the floor while WALKING AWAY from our door. This was completely unlike her, and caught our attention.

She's been in that hallway many times, and she's only ever wanted to go back home.

So we followed her. She followed a scent through the hallway from door to door, and kept looking back at us as if to tell us something.

We were extremely confused at first, then we realized; the guards do rounds of the whole floor, door to door.

After retracing the scent throughout the ENTIRE FLOOR, she eventually followed the scent to the elevator, where she stopped and waited while staring at us.

She is f***ing TERRIFIED of the elevator.

Just to confirm her suspicions, we took her downstairs, where the cat usually sticks to us like glue. She opened her mouth (cats do this to smell certain scents) and AGAIN walked away from us, towards the security office.

My girlfriend is freaking out and I think she might be right.

What the f*** do you do about somebody like this? Is he waiting and listening outside her door during his rounds?

Is it possible he might be stalking you? You said the sounds stopped when you went back home? If your girl is allowed, I would install a ring cam at the door and get a protective firearm. Maybe a sig p365, go for about $500

Seems like a fake story lol the cat part is stupid. Post the cat breed so we can verify the “hyper intelligence”

There’s a bunch of other dumb s*** in there too lowkey like how you know what dude wore for 3 years the noise is the only weird thing, the other s*** is you being high as s*** if srs.

Gf insinuated that the dude might be weird about our dynamic than her, herself

Also protective firearms are illegal where my gf lives unless it's for hunting

And residents in her apartment building aren't allowed to modify anything outside of their units, and it's a rental

Being creepy isn't illegal and there isn't enough proof either

Are there cameras in the hallways or any where else on route to your girls apartment

    Ask to see the footage
