Lotta the tracks that they played from Gucci's mixtapes were also released from albums that were released while he was in jail. I'm looking at the playlist for them right now and 80% of them tracks also appeared on their albums. Crazily enough, they ain't play the Trap House 3 intro, which still makes no sense to me.

There was still tons of diversity in rap when crunk popped though.
In 06-08, the South completely dominated over other regions. Wayne was the hottest rapper out, Snap and Ringtone Rap hit its peak, TI was also huge af, and NY rap started to dwindle down.
