  • Are you trying to wear them around the house or outside after all this corona s*** is over? If you're gonna stay inside, I really really recommend you try out the AKG K240s. I own a pair and they sound fantastic as hell. If you're going outside, just get some Audio-Technica headphones.

Have you tried switching out the earpads? I had to get different ones for my m50's because the stock ones were uncomfortable.

Nope, but at this point I’d rather get something different. Ear pads are like at least $30

If they’re on sale they’re a steal. I didn’t know they could be wired.

I'll look into them, what I'm concerned is about they look like the type to break easily

Might think about these, although they’re open back and cosmetically don’t look great

Ordered the AKG K371 at last, heard they’re one of the best you can get in their price range. Was considering Sony ch-700n but heard the build quality and noise cancellation was meh

That’s dope fam, completely looking forward to them. Btw I’m changing it from my M40X, hope it’ll be a noteworthy change considering my M40X sounds boring, are fairly uncomfortable, and can’t isolate for s***

I hope they work out for you brother!

I used the m50x for a while and they were some of the worst headphones I ever wore, ridiculously uncomfortable and harsh highs

Wider yes, M50 has the worst soundstage I ever heard

It depends on what you consider exciting. M50s have super boosted upper mids and highs but they just come off harsh to me. Maybe that would be exciting to some?

Honestly I consider those akg’s more of a mixing headphone
