Are you trying to wear them around the house or outside after all this corona s*** is over? If you're gonna stay inside, I really really recommend you try out the AKG K240s. I own a pair and they sound fantastic as hell. If you're going outside, just get some Audio-Technica headphones.

Ordered the AKG K371 at last, heard they’re one of the best you can get in their price range. Was considering Sony ch-700n but heard the build quality and noise cancellation was meh

I used the m50x for a while and they were some of the worst headphones I ever wore, ridiculously uncomfortable and harsh highs

Wider yes, M50 has the worst soundstage I ever heard

It depends on what you consider exciting. M50s have super boosted upper mids and highs but they just come off harsh to me. Maybe that would be exciting to some?

Honestly I consider those akg’s more of a mixing headphone
