GNX is the 5th quickest rap album ever to hit 1 billion Spotify streams
1. Scorpion*
2. Utopia - 28 days
3. Certified Lover Boy - 30 days
4. Legends Never Die - 35 days
4. GNX - 36 days
6. For All The Dogs - 40 days
7. Chromakopia - 49 Days
8. Her Loss - 51 days
9. Donda - 57 days
These are all individual song streams from those albums, which are always the widely-reported Spotify numbers.
I must note that it is not straightforward to compare like-for-like data for this. As for example, everywhere says Utopia, Legends Never Die, and FATD hit those landmarks in 28, 35 and 40 days, BUT those billion stream landmarks included pre-album release single streams as well. So if you only include streams AFTER the album dropped then they took longer.
Every single stream on GNX and Her Loss for example, are from the album release date onwards as there was no single or pre-released songs to help. So they would be at a disadvantage on this list.
*Note: Scorpion is a difficult one to get confirmed relevant data on. It practically had 1 billion streams on release as the singles alone (Gods Plan & Nice For What) had around 1B by the album’s release. Then it hit 2B total a couple weeks after release. It’s still comfortably number 1 if you include those streams before release or not.
Just wait till Zack gets here and goes spreadsheet for spreadsheet
Number of songs for each album in these rankings:
1. 25 songs
2. 19 songs
3. 21 songs
4. 22 songs
5. 12 songs
6. 23 songs
7. 14 songs
8. 16 songs
9. 27 songs
GNX had half the number of songs to stream as some of these albums. And no pre release tracks
Number of songs means nothing btw
Nobody is getting forced to listen to every song
They making threads about coming 5th

It absolutely does effect first day / second day streams where everyone listens to the album in full the first time.
Very easy to replay 12 songs vs 20+. With the momentum he had I’m shocked this album isn’t breaking records left and right but I guess it isn’t too surprising considering the music wasn’t up to par.
Chromokopia, her loss and gnx the only albums on here with less than 20 tracks and u saying this. Nasty agenda pushing

Can you pull up the statistics that say people listen to the full album on the first or second day?
All I'm reading are assumptions
Number of songs means nothing btw
Nobody is getting forced to listen to every song
Billboard themselves have said it does
Billboard themselves have said it does
Ask Chris Brown if it does Shaq
You know that’s an extreme example.
Why would it be
The proof is literally in the 5th place stats op is parroting
If people like it enough they come back
Track length doesn't matter
Number of songs means nothing btw
Nobody is getting forced to listen to every song
it does
Having 23 tracks on an album is the ideal number for maximizing streams
