It's obvious, I don't understand why someone as passionate about music production as Ye does this now. And it explains why even Dre couldn't properly mix his vocals in yet Travis sounds perfectly fine when he comes in. I also don't buy the idea that Kanye's lyrics took a huge step back with JIK onwards because he doesn't have the writers anymore. He's just not taking his time anymore imo and so he's using the reference track freestyles as the final product
