On recent rewatch, when Odín and Thor are visiting, I think Kratos is seriously considering accepting their offer, that’s exactly what he wants, to live a life in peace and to not worry about having to protect Atreus, but when Odín says he’ll settle his debt w Freya, Kratos rightfully assumes that he means killing her, which he won’t allow, and that’s why he denies him.
That’s my headcanon at least lol
something like that, if you read the codex entries about Odin, it says something along those lines, he can't accept a deal that threatens her
sif tho? wish we got a boss battle with that big ol ass
A classic Kratos "mini game" boss battle if you get what I'm sayin
The one thing I didn’t like is Atreus is a bit overpowered in the game it felt like to me
Why am I washing everybody with atraeus but having trouble with enemies as kratos
I think it's because Atreus is limited to his weapon upgrades. It's really basic compared to the levels you can upgrade all of Kratos' weapons & armor. So they made it a bit easier to combat as Atreus.

Yeah plus if it was accurate atraeus would get washed fighting level 1-3 enemies. Idk if they still have this in the game but when I played the enemies level was scaled to kratos so atraeus was washing level 6 enemies that were killing me as kratos

One of the codex says he was contemplating it but he trusts Mimirs counsel and he said Odin always lies
Was hoping Mimir would get his body back at the end
I know that man tongue numb after his night with Sigrun

LMAO, she was using him as a vibrator all night
OLED does this scene ALL the justice
Yeah this area was crazyyyyy cinematic, and s*** felt like tekken with atreus turning into kuma
OLED does this scene ALL the justice
Yeah this s*** was incredible. I was in awe for a moment. And with everything that happened it was a perfect moment.
The journey in this game is slow AF but the payoff is worth it
The dialogue in this game is awful tbh. Kratos is the only one that actually seems and sounds like he’s from that world
rereading the first couple pages after finally beating this game, and you smoking phat p**** if you think this game is "rushed". the f***ing story alone took me like 26 hours.
also the moment where the new weapon is created and Brok finds out he has been "dead" this whole time is a top 10 video game moment. what a beautiful scene. rip a real one.

Everything after the swerve cutscene is definitely rushed. This should have been a 3 game trilogy imo
Overall I enjoyed the game, but the actual events of ragnarok felt rushed and anticlimactic. For example I was hoping to see the whole army amassed with cameos from the previous game. This definitely felt like a PS4 game to me. Moving forward I want to see the next AAA exclusive take full advantage of the capabilities of the ps5.
when atreus is in the surtr shrine angrboda says the giants went far away to distant lands to hide from odin and thor and she said "I wonder what lands they crossed, what seas they've crossed"
starting to think atreus will leave the nine realms to find giants hiding in other pantheons
