Just because games’ graphical quality have gotten to a super realistic point, that doesn’t mean they’re inherently “film quality”, or that a live action adaptation is pointless.

Films and games are two completely different mediums; films are so much more than just “good story with real people talking”, which is essentially what’s being implied when questioning why games need film adaptations if the graphics are already lifelike.

With the budget Amazon could provide, this has a chance of being good. I'm prepared for this to be awful though.
