BlueDreamDave Bautista would be a great choice for several reasons.
But it would all depend on if they are planning to adapt the older games, or the most recent gamesHe’d be too old to play a young Kratos, but would be the perfect age for an older and quieter Kratos.
Also we know he can do the quiet and threatening demeanor because of his role in BR2049, and he can also be the type to yell and be aggressive like in Dune.
So overall I think he’d be the best choice for Kratos

He probably got full salary considering he shot half the damn show and got replaced due to injury which I’m sure his or the studios insurance covers

I am trying to be mean the other guy got the part because he played a character in the game. He should have never been cast and from the moment that photo was released I was waiting on divine intervention to remove him from this role and it happened

The other dude might have been a better fit in all but muscle (speculation)
Bautista is a bigger name and has bigger muscles tho so this might help Amazon recoup some of the sunk costs of reshooting a whole ass season
Really sucks tho cuz Opie NEEDED it a lot more than Bautista who’s already a big star whereas ole Opie isn’t a big name and this would have been his first major lead role in an expensive high profile project
