Love these games but a tv show? The games are already pure cinema what’s the point

I just can’t picture a some of these boss fights being more thrilling in a show than they already are in the game

Help me out here, why wasn't he an idiot?
I only played the mainline as they came out but like what would the major story beats be? Killing his kids, feeling bad about it, and then learning nothing from it cause he becomes the god of killing a bunch of random dudes who all have wives and kids?
i'm not trying to oversimplify here, I'm genuinely curious

TDUB701There’d be more room to actually give us an experience we haven’t seen
Doing the Norse saga it could be copy and paste of a script whereas doing the Greek arc would actually require significant changes as far as character development and what not since it’s mostly balls to the wall action in the games which is more interesting
Doing Norse saga is a way easier/play it safe option cuz the whole story down to character interactions is already there
yeah i hear you but without the norse saga, gow would honestly probably be a weird 00s relic

They can add in between story bits from all the parts not played to make a meaningful story . It isn’t a terrible story has boss fights and lore . Sony stories aren’t simply better cause father son or father daughter dynamic

Had they done the Greek arc they woulda obviously norsified it some lol as far as kratos character and the story telling
the old school soulless killer murder spree style of the first 3 games would be better suited for a movie than tv show

bruh i think its just well suited for a devil may cry-like character action game.
i don't think it'd work in a non-interactive medium

Work on his character ? I don’t know if every character needs a deep character study or development. Him becoming the father without the original arc doesn’t hit as hard

Working from scratch to present the old material in a different way would be a more justified adaptation than just copying the beats of the new games if ya ask me

Revenge movies have been a thing forever
It wouldn’t be hard to do at all, it’s a simple revenge story against ares all you d have to do is make a few Hollywood changes, less innocents getting killed, prolly make Athena a romantic figure, give kratos a lil more of a conscience etc
