why would they fire u for using pto
I think your supposed to schedule it ahead of time
My boss used to give me time off to go party lmao
I made him a lot of money
You’ve been working for 2 1/2 months and already have a week of PTO? holy s***
I’ll be honest though, if this job is at all important for your career/future aspirations then you might have to cancel the trip homie. Depends on how lenient your managers are but it likely wouldn’t reflect well on you to do this
Be sure to sit on the toilet and make the call too
It makes it more believable when you sound like you’re in pain

Yeah, when you start you get 3 days to take off whenever that you can start using after a month. From there, every 2 weeks is half a day so it should be just enough for the trip. Yeah that’s what I’m afraid since this is my first career job and it’s at a really good company. On the other hand, I’m so new that I don’t have a lot of tasks/responsibilities yet.
Might use a story that happened to me years ago
Might just say that my aunt died in a car crash and my grandma is in a coma so I have to go to mexico to attend the funeral/see my grandma

You’re a bad person lmao

It’s technically not a lie and I would feel bad lying on someone alive and jinxing things
covid symptoms. easy
All fun and games until they call you in for a COVID test and it comes back negative, then they hit you with the "well while you're here..."
