Both dark souls and bloodborne are some if my favorite games of all time. Yet i couldn't get into sekiro at all. Even after forcing myself to clearing the first 2 levels i just didn't really like it even though i digged the setting and and visuals.
Something about the combat didn't sit with me and i can't really explain it but i can respect it as a videgame and can't fault it much really.
Any of yall experienced something similar?
Persona 5, not that I don’t like it but roughly 20 hours in it seems a bit one dimensional. Was just expecting more.

Just 20 hours
Just 20 hours
i realise it’s 100+ hours, just not really my cup of tea i guess
Horizon zero dawn's combat system was just not fun at all to me. Plus it had the woat premise. "What if we did monster hunter but with robot dinosaurs" Never got the hype.
The last of us is just so painfully average as a video game and as a story it's a b level zombie movie that would've flopped at the box office
Every uncharted game. Basically movie games in general because aside from rare examples like the mgs series. Video game writing quaulity has not lived up to making it the focus of the game yet.
Plus I hated how they nerfed the shooting in uncharted 2 to where you just shoot a guy anywhere three times and he falls down. Whereas at least in uncharted 1 you had several hitboxes and could do headshots or just shoot a guy legs so he's limping around

Facts, agree with your post about the last of us too, naughty dog are overrated tbh
the witcher 3
prolly cause i played it right after i finished bloodborne
Bloodborne set the bar way too high for every other game 😔
Wouldn't say I hate it but I recently got kingdom hearts final mix and this s*** doesn't tell you where to go at all
Jedi: Fallen Order
Dont really care for the Dark Souls-esque gameplay and the story is so standard and safe for a SW game set in-between Episodes III-IV, that I just couldnt get invested in the main character
Persona 5
Bioshock Infinite is okay at best. The story is amazing but the gameplay sucks. Replayed it last year and can categorically say it is one of the most overrated games I've come across (and I was one who thought it was 10/10 amazing on first playthrough)
The witcher 3 and Persona 5. Witcher 3 has woat controls, and persona 5 story did not impress me at all and i find it's gameplay loop very boring.

yeah i understand and imo 20 hours is long enough to get a handle on a persona game. i gotta b in the mood 2 play them

i felt sekiro was more fun but mayb its because i didnt care for the bloodborne aesthetics
