It’s “the best album of all time,” so good, that allegedly Kendr297k Gimmar fans need to remind you, in a snotty and insecure-sounding tone, how good it is at all times.
Embarrassing stuff — but they never fail to continue to amaze me. What else would you expect from the bunch that listens to faux-Dre albums middled with alien voices and mysterious, surface-level metaphors that they call Psalms.

I rate GKMC extremely highly but I think the 21st century Illmatic is MBDTF
Dec 1, 2023Idk about that, but it had one of most profound impacts on my life of any piece of art I have ever consumed. I don’t know if it was my age, the timing, the content or a mixture of everything. But very few moments in my life are as important as listening to that album when it came out.

I dont think any of the songs require you to pay attention to the concept to enjoy it. I only really took notice of the concept years after it came out and I loved the album
