u ever read rdj comments about dark knight when it came out against iron man? dude was full of s***
“The Dark Knight. “My whole thing is that that I saw The Dark Knight. I feel like I’m dumb because I feel like I don’t get how many things that are so smart. It’s like a Ferrari engine of storytelling and script writing and I’m like, ‘That’s not my idea of what I want to see in a movie.’ I loved The Prestige but didn’t understand The Dark Knight. Didn’t get it, still can’t tell you what happened in the movie, what happened to the character and in the end they need him to be a bad guy. I’m like, ‘I get it. This is so high brow and so f***ing smart, I clearly need a college education to understand this movie.’ You know what? F*** DC comics. That’s all I have to say and that’s where I’m really coming from.”
dude said f*** dc comics for that
Lol I would assume this is a troll but, at 14-15 years old watching the dark knight my attention span and expectations had me pretty clueless by the time I walked out the theatre. As much as I wanted to enjoy the recent marvel cluster f*** of movies, I end up sighing half way through because the plot is for little kids and you can't really rewatch them because there isn't much nuance aside from "whoa boom boom blast blast" look at the cool super hero's. To add to that I felt pretty fulfilled after it the DK trilogy was over

no that quote is real
Refn's Pusher Trilogy
Raimi's Evil Dead Trilogy
Polanski's Apartment Trilogy
Evil dead is so much better than the other 2 as straight horror
Evil dead 2 and AOD are good movies but I can watch evil dead once a day if I wanted to

I think each having their own feel is part of the charm. I like the remake too. Show wasn't bad either. The only franchise where I can say every entry brings something to the table.
Rec 2 was cool with the soldiers and stuff but man Rec 1 was just straight up scary
Is Rec 2 as good as the first one? Only saw REC 1 but man ...

That's true af, even though I didnt think much of the show the constant reimagining is probably why I love the franchise so much

gonna watch the captain america trilogy
didn't enjoy the iron man trilogy (didn't even finish it lol), but maybe captain america is a little more to my taste
Captain America winter soldier (the 2nd one) is amazing
Is Rec 2 as good as the first one? Only saw REC 1 but man ...
I don’t think it was as good but it had some cool action because the characters were the swat team
He really said f*** DC comics

that check must be fattt
One of the best trilogies period and Dawn is a f***ing classic and a personal favorite of mine. Wish they got more love. Ceasar hands down one of the most iconic non-human characters in film history. Praise the goat Andy Serkis

Loved Rec 1, rec 2 was obnoxious as hell to me though

Why doesn't that trilogy got more love? I watched the first when it came out, i was young so don't remember much and never saw the rest.
